Self Employed Medical Deductions

Self Employed people have been able to take their medical premiums as a deduction on the front page of the tax return for a while now. But many people are unaware that they are also permitted to deduct their Medicare Part B and D Premiums as well. Spouse’s Medicare premiums still cannot be counted as a front page deduction unless the spouse is self employed as well.
